Strong-Flex filaments are wrapped synthetic fibres. This wrap covering makes the filaments stiffer, increasing the brushing action effect. The abrasive material is only free at the filament tip, where it is required for effective operation.

Further advantages are the reduction of machine and tool wear and an additional surface polishing effect. The filaments have a good chemical resistance and are not subject to the adhesion of waste debris.
